Volume Controls is a game mechanic that allows for the volume of individual Monsters to be decreased. It was added to My Singing Monsters on September 4th, 2013, in Version 1.2.0[1], and to Dawn of Fire in Version 1.10.0. Since the volume starts at the max level, this mechanic can't be used to increase the volume of Monsters. Although placing more of the same type of Monster (especially next to each other), is a way to increase a Monster's volume.

My Singing Monsters[]

To adjust the volume of a Monster, select a Monster and press Move. From there, a bar will appear on the bottom left. By default, the volume is all the way at the top, but you can lower it by sliding it to the left. Sliding it to the very left will almost completely "mute" the Monster, though the Monster will continue to play its animation.

Dawn of Fire[]

To adjust the volume of a Monster, tap on a Monster, press "Move" and then adjust the volume settings. Adjusting volume to the very left mutes the Monster, while adjusting very slightly right to the quietest part of the volume settings will make the Monster super quiet.
