Earth Island

About

Earth Island is the fifth and final Natural Island available to the player and it manifests the Earth Element. It can be purchased at level 4 for 7,500,000 , after purchasing Water Island.

Indigenous Monsters

The monsters of Earth Island are of the Earth, Cold, Plant, and Air elements. Since Earth Island lacks the Water element, no monster with that element can exist on it.

Rocks and Trees

     Main Article: Obstacles
Removing the rocks and trees from the island earns the player Experience and it opens up space to place more Monsters, Decorations, or Structures. Removed obstacles are not gone permanently; they can be bought back with Diamonds under the decorations section in the Market.

Special Occasions

     Main Article: Special Occasions
During the holiday season of Summer, Earth Island is adorned with Summer decorations. As part of the Summer Celebration, all obstacles are changed to seasonal versions. Although a special holiday, no monsters dress up in costume for the duration of the Summer Celebration. Some monsters dress up for the Halloween and Christmas seasons, however, Earth Island does not change during those times.

• For 2013, the Summer season was from July 16^th to August 19^th.
• For 2014, the Summer season was from July 9^th to August 14^th.
• For 2015, the Summer season was from July 15^th to August 19^th.
• For 2016, the Summer season was from July 15^th to August 15^th.

A special seasonal monster, the Hoola, is available for breeding or purchase in the Market during the Summer season. It was released on February 5th, 2013.
A rare version of the Hoola, the Rare Hoola, is also available for breeding or purchase in the Market, although only for a limited amount of time during the Summer season. It was released on July 16th, 2016.

Rare Noggin	Also in October 2015, the Rare Noggin wanted to feel even sweeter than its common counterpart so it dressed up as an actual sugar cube! Mammott	On October 29th, 2012, the Mammott decided to be a pirate, arr. In October 2014, it also donned an iconic pirate hat as well as a hook-hand, arr-arr. For the 2015 season, the Mammott went all skin and bones - well black fur and bones. This outfit was repeated for the 2016 season on October 24th of that year. Rare Mammott	In October 2015, the Rare Mammott wore the same costume as its normal counterpart, except that its horns were visible and it glowed green! This outfit was repeated for the 2016 season on October 24th of that year.	File:Rare Mammott Halloween 2015.png 2015 - 2016
Potbelly			In December 2014, the Potbelly decided to play Santa too. "It had a broad face, and a little round belly that shook when it laughed, like a bowl full of jelly..." Rare Potbelly			For the 2015 Christmas season, the Rare Potbelly was feeling rather jolly and its leaves changed red. It also wore a Santa hat and its pot turned yellow with a red ribbon on it.	File:Rare Potbelly Xmas 2015.png 2015

Shrubb	In October 2014, the Shrubb disguised itself as a clown. A friendly clown. Not a scary clown. Certainly not like that Stephen King clown. No. Not like that. Not scary. Rare Shrubb	On October 28th, 2016, the Rare Shrubb finally dressed up for the Halloween season. Like its common counterpart, the Shrubb, it dressed up as a clown, styling multiple colors. Furcorn	On October 25th, 2012, the Furcorn dressed up as a ghost complete with a sheet. This outfit was repeated for the 2013 Halloween season. In 2014, its leaf turned brown. For the 2015 Halloween season, the Furcorn's leaf remained brown but instead of a ghost sheet, it wore a face guard, similar to one worn in Mad Mex: Fury Road. In 2016, the Furcorn dressed up back to a ghost as done in 2014, with tinted brown leaf included. Rare Furcorn	In October 2014, the Rare Furcorn was expected to be dressed up as a ghost, but it turned out that it dressed up with a "Jason mask" from the Friday 13th movies. For 2015, the Rare Furcorn lost the Jason mask and put on a Dr. Hannibal Lector mask. The 2016 Rare Furcorn repeated the 2014 Jason mask, except with blue streaks and its pink ribbon turned blue. Rare Dandidoo			In December 2015, the Rare Dandidoo put on two scarves and Santa hats, one for each of its heads. That's a lot of hair to be put in one little hat!	File:Rare Dandidoo Xmas 2015.png 2015
Pango			On December 18th, 2012, the Pango dressed itself up in green earmuffs and mittens, and its scarf gained stripes. It still seemed rather cold, though. The Pango wore this outfit for all the future Christmas seasons.	File:Christmas Pango.png 2012 - 2015

Thumpies	In October 2015, the Thumpies became black and orange with their eyes and mouth black/white, resembling a carved pumpkin. This outfit was repeated for the 2016 season.	File:Thumpies Halloween 2015.png 2015 - 2016	On December 18th, 2012, the Thumpies were the first to dress up. Rather than wear something, the Thumpies changed their color to white. Rare Thumpies	In October 2015, the Rare Thumpies turned dark and light gray. The dark gray one's brain was noticeably exposed and the other one's pencil was removed. Well, sort of like them (certainly their springboards). The zombie one went white with blue eyes and worms, and the other was red pierced with a green-and-white candy cane instead of a pencil. PomPom	On October 24th, 2013, The PomPom disguised itself as an alien. This outfit was repeated for the 2014 season. For the 2015 season, the PomPom turned red and its skeletal system was visible. The full Earth Island song is available on iTunes for download. The Earth Island's song, like that of Plant Island, is in the key of C minor. The song plays at 140 beats per minute.

Castle Upgrades

     Main Article: Castle
To be placed on an island, each monster requires a specific number of beds. For Natural Monsters, this is equal to the number of elements that monster represents. Ethereal, Supernatural, and Seasonal Monsters each have varied bed requirements. Upgrade the Castle to unlock more beds.

Notes

• Earth Island was unlocked in the Version 1.1.0 on November 27^th, 2012.
• The appearance of Earth Island resembles a volcano, leading some to mistakenly refer to it as Fire Island. Earth Island is the way it is because the environment on this island is one in which volcanoes would be found.
• There is no water element on this island. This is likely due to there being so little water other than the humidity. Although, some plants can survive in a dry environment such as next to a volcano, hence plants on Earth Island.
• Periodically, a wee fire-creature appears and does a little dance for a few seconds atop the island-head's right upper horn, (this is left-justified from the player's view) then it disappears, and a bit later, repeats atop the island-head's left lower ear. It may refer to Wickman from Burn the Rope.
• Earth Island has the Least new monsters. Being 4. (Hoola not counted)
